My name is Douglas, and I'm a visual arts major. My ultimate goal is to
become an art director, working in high fashion shoots, or the fashion
industry. I'm also in interested in the business perspective of art, and its
marketing. Eventually I want to own a commercial art gallery. As a visual
artist I have to familiarize myself with the history of art, and its
beginnings to better understand where art has been, and where its leading to. I’m especially interested in classical art; greek and roman classic art fascinates me. Politics, culture, and
society have a big impact on art. The current political, and social conditions
of any specific era influence the inspiration of artists and their work.
